 Theatre Council is a Student Association funded organization open to all students of the University at Albany who possess an interest in theatre and a willingness to take part in its production.  We assist in the presentation of experimental theatre by helping to fund student run productions, an otherwise costly venture.  By doing this we are providing an outlet for UAlbany student directors, actors, designers, and technicians to showcase their talents.  In addition to providing the campus with experimental theatre, we also make arrangements, with the cooperation of the UAlbany Theatre Department, to offer workshops and other opportunites for students to gain the experience of working with theatre professionals both within and outside of the UAlbany community.
